Sustainability Policy

BBS Timbers is focused on ensuring that the timbers it sources from both local and overseas forests are harvested from sustainable resources.

As a member of the New Zealand Timber Importers Association (NZTIA), we have implemented a Rainforest Policy that covers the principles that we uphold to promote the fastest practical progress towards environmentally and socially sound forestry management.  A full copy of this policy can be found on the NZTIA website.

BBS Timbers works alongside ITTG (Imported Tropical Timbers Group) in dealings with MAF and Greenpeace to continue to source sustainable timbers.
